Vibracoustics Ltd Marine Conical Mountings VS48000, VS48000 HD and VS48000 RV were designed originally for use on medium speed engines but have proven particularly versatile, being also used for exhaust gas boilers, silencer suspensions, deckhouse, accommodation rooms and control cabin suspensions.

Classification Society Type Approved, this mounting is an excellent isolator against structure borne vibration and noise, its conical design providing high load capacity and deflection, combined with long service life.

The rubber elements for the mountings are produced in several types:
-Type VS48000 N** is produced with an interleaf ring.
-Type VS48000 N** HD is produced without the interleaf ring.
-Type VS48000 N** RV is produced with the interleaf ring and also opposite rubber voids which give three different stiffness's in the X, Y and Z directions.
